Seneca is made to order in your choice of fabrics, featuring a clean-lined design and charming traditionally inspired details. This sofa features a deep bench seat, continuous back cushion, and turned legs on casters—a streamlined design that complements styles of all kinds.
  • Seneca is made to order in the U.S. by skilled craftspeople. Please allow up to 8 weeks for production.
  • This sofa is made with a medium-firm cushion, filled with polyester foam padding, polyester fiber batting, polyurethane foam, and duck down and feathers. Back pillow is removable.
  • Luster Performance is our performance velvet fabric made of a soft and luxurious blend of cotton and polyester.
  • We recommend ordering a fabric swatch to ensure that the color and texture is right for your space.

The Making of a Custom Sofa

Building the base

Every piece of your custom sofa is made to order in the U.S., from start to finish. First, the frame: Solid pieces of wood are glued and nailed into place, like a 3-D puzzle.

Preparing the fabric

While the frame is built, the fabric is prepared for upholstering by a maker, tracing, cutting, and sewing the fabric to fit your chosen piece’s frame.

Finishing the legs

Every last detail is completed by skilled artisans—including the application of stains and finishes to the legs of the sofa, seen here.

Final touches

Once your custom piece is outfitted with cushioning, an upholsterer secures the fabric, trimming and perfecting the details. Next stop: your home.
